Douglas Chester George Wilson

Douglas Chester George Wilson, aged 72 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away May 10th, 2011.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 16th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Linda Owens officiating.  Doug was born on September 22nd, 1938 and was the youngest son of Betty and Ches.  He received his education at Summerside School in Archydal and Moose Jaw Tech.  He worked for Moose Jaw Co-op Creamery for 17 years before taking over the family farm, which was homesteaded in 1889, and farmed there until he retired.  He was predeceased by his parents.  Doug will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Beverly; son, Brad; brother, John (Annette) and their family, Perry (Jane), Marshal, Blaise and Christofer, and Donna (Herb), Kirstan and Kevin; brother, Ralph and his family Dianne and Laurie, Dylan and Allana.  Donations in Doug’s name may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Sask., 279 3rd Ave. N., Saskatoon, SK.
