Brian Desmond Webb

Brian Desmond Webb, aged 80 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Tuesday, October 20th, 2026.

Brian was born in Stockport, England and then moved to Birmingham, England where he met the love of his life, Rosalind Prince at the age of 14.  They both had a lifelong passion for learning, which led them to both becomes educators.  They later married in 1968 and in the following year, they set out on a grand adventure to live and teach in every Commonwealth country, setting sail with Canada as their first stop.  They arrived in Loon Lake, SK in September and despite the snow falling a week after they arrived, they fell in love with this new country and they never left.  The adventures continued during every summer break with extensive road trips with their dogs.  Eventually they settled down and started their family welcoming two children, Jacquie and Ben.

Brian was predeceased by his wife, Rosalind; parents, Harold and Ruby; sisters, Glenis and Hazel.  After the loss of his loving wife Rosiland in 2017, he was lucky to find love a second time in Marj Lorence until her passing.  Brian is survived by his daughter, Jacquie (Jeff) Brady; son, Benjamin (Barbara Webb); granddaughter, Avery; and stepchildren: Bronwyn, Brahma, and Bougena.  

Brian will be remembered at a private family gathering.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Brian’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Shirese Noble Funeral Director 306-693-4550
