Shirley Anne Waldenberger
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Anne Waldenberger (née: Coutts) on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025.
Shirley was born on September 5th, 1945 in the small town of Tugaske, SK. It was in 1975 that she met the love of her life, Ken Waldenberger. They created a wonderful life together and brought into this world son, Chad (Charie) and daughter, Lisa (Sheldon). She held a lot of important titles, including mother, wife, grandma, sister, auntie, cousin, and friend. Shirley was loved by lots and created many great memories and laughs for everyone around her. She never missed a beat, and if she could be in two places at once, you knew she would. Her grandboys, Nash, Koyen, and Jayven, were her pride and joy and they loved her fiercely. A trip to the farm often ended with a request to have a sleepover at Grandma’s. She was predeceased by her mom and dad, Bob and Edna; brother, Ron; sister, Alice (Dick); and sisters-in-law, RoseMarie and Carol. Shirley is also survived by her brother, Les and sister-in-law, Yvonne.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 13th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John’s Church in Marquis, SK. Interment will take place in St. John’s Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Shirley’s name may be made to Star Air Ambulance, 2640 Airport Road, Regina, SK S4W 1A6. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
