Roy Arthur Venn

Roy Arthur Venn, aged 92 years of Moose Jaw, SK and formerly of the Ormiston District, passed away Friday, November 2nd, 2012.  The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 9th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Padre Doug Shepherd will officiate and burial of cremains will take place in the spring at Ormiston Cemetery.  He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Jessie; sister, Dora Valness and brother, Fred Venn.  Roy will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Irene Duzan; sister-in-law, Anne Venn; and numerous nieces and nephews.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Roy’s name may be made to Pioneer Lodge, 1000 Albert St., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2Y2.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director. 693-4550.
