TIMOTHY ALAN VASS
September 14th, 1986 – June 14th, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Timothy Alan Vass on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, at the age of 38 years. Born and raised in Pangman, SK, Timothy carried with him a deep connection to nature and the values instilled by small-town life.
He was predeceased by his beloved father, Alan, and his son, Alexander. Timothy leaves behind his cherished daughter, Mayah and son, Lennon; his devoted mother, Pat; brother, Nathan; sister, Blythe and her family: brother-in-law Scott, nephews Leonardo and Thomas, and niece Eliza; along with many friends and extended family. His love for his family was as steadfast as the prairie skies he knew so well.
A true creative spirit, Timothy found joy and expression in music, philosophy, nature, and writing. Whether strumming a guitar, coaxing melody from a harmonica or piano, or putting pen to paper, he shared his inner world with warmth and honesty. Like his father before him, he was gifted with his hands — a craftsman at heart, he embraced work that built and shaped the world around him.
Timothy’s quiet wisdom, gentle humor, and reflective nature touched many. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
A Time of Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place on Monday, June 23rd, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at South Sask Victory Church in Pangman, SK. Interment will follow at Pangman Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
I express my deepest sympathy in this time of grief. The Bible promises that your loved one will soon live again on a beautiful paradise earth when death will be no more in John 5:28, 29.
My dear friend and grade 1-12 school mate. We have been through a lot of things together over these 60 plus years, but this is horrific. I am so sorry for your loss Pat. I pray that your friends and Nathan and Blythe will be by your side every step of the way. You are a strong woman and have weathered your share of struggles and sadness. I will be with you in my thoughts and hopefully on my visit in July maybe a close up visit. Hugs all around. Lynn Stenabaugh
Thoughts and prayers are with family. Pat, Bonnie and I want you to know our care and love are extended to you at this time. May the peace of God that goes beyond human understanding sustain you.
Tim, I wish I knew you better. We bear the same name and I knew your father like a brother. He was my uncle, you were my cousin. I’m sorry I never met your children. I knew you as a child. What a beautiful smile! Your zest for life was infectious. You had your father’s spirit. I saw you in a dream the other day embracing your son in Heaven then you embraced your Dad and my Dad. It was precious but it didn’t end there. You saw Grandma Vass and fell into her arms then you saw your Saviour and ran to him. No more tears He said…you are home now.
Blythe and family. So sorry for your loss. Thinking of you. Colette Beaubien
