TOPOLINSKY, TINA EILEEN
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Eileen Topolinsky (née: Metin) on Monday, January 5th, 2026. Tina was born on August 24th, 1945, in Carman, Manitoba.
Tina was a loyal, passionate, and vibrant person who truly lived life to the fullest. She touched many lives throughout her years with her warmth, humour, and unforgettable spirit. If you were on Tina’s good side, you had a fiercely loyal and wonderful friend.
She was known for her great sense of humour, her ability to listen, and her many hobbies and talents. Tina was an amazing cook who loved bringing people together with her food. She also loved music and good company — no jam session was ever complete without Tina singing her favourite song, “Pop a Top.”
Above all, Tina was a loving, passionate, and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and will forever remain in our hearts.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Florence Metin; daughter, Denise Topolinsky; siblings: William (Bill) Metin, Sherri Hoffos, and Gordon (Bud) Metin; and her beloved cat, Katie, who she adored deeply. Tina will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sheila (Dell) Bellrose; grandchildren; Nathan and his daughter Grey, Dylan (Samantha), Nicole, and Cordell, Jessica (Corey) and their daughters Chloe and Emily; and siblings: Linda Archer, Walter Metin, and Terri Bosner.
A Celebration of Tina’s Life will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at The Union Centre, 1402 Caribou St W, Moose Jaw, SK.
Understanding
this is not the end of it
or the beginning
the process of life
and poetry
is greater than
the words used to describe
them
damaged souls and sunsets
can only be understood
with the heart
— Terri Bosner

I am so sad to read this news. I knew Tina many years ago, and she is just as she was described here. She was a friend. She worked at Badley’s in Mossbank and the food was top quality thanks to Tina. She tackled everything head first and did the best job that was possible. She never slacked off. I remember her entering us in a curling bonspiel and I’ve never curled in my life…and I doubt she had either. we didn’t end up curling, thankfully.
She will be missed.
Condolences to all. She was one tough cookie and well liked by all.
