Mary Jensine Anine Sorensen

Mary Jensine Anine Sorensen, was born in Haarby, Denmark on August 9, 1913, the seventh child of Anders and Marie Sorensen.  She departed this earth peacefully at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on May 12th, 2010.  Mary was predeceased by her husband, Magnus (Mac) Sorensen; her parents, Anders and Marie Sorensen; her two sisters Astrid Sorensen and Elly Ulrich; her five brothers Sigurd, Frederic, Jens, Bernhardt, Verner, and Julius, and their spouses; and her grandson by marriage Bernard Bouvier.

She leaves behind her son, Elvin and his wife Grace; her six granddaughters and their spouses, Terri (Ron) Alix, Karen (Robin)Richmond, Kristine (Christopher) Oleson, Linda (Matthew) Grismer, Maxine (Victor) Wall and Sandra (Robert) Bogdan; 17 great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, Danielle (Gary) Bahr, Darren Alix, Kim (Todd) Richardson, Ryan (Luwauna) Chamberlin, Joel Bouvier (Kyla Grill), Mick (Rebecca) Bouvier, Erin Richmond (Collin Stumpf), Brady Richmond, Jennifer (Don) Balas, Eric Oleson (Cassie Ozog), Joseph Grismer,  Emery (Heather) Grismer, Levi Grismer (Jennifer Woolsey), Nathan (Jennifer) Wall, Kristen Wall (Kirby LeBruno), Paul Bogdan and Tenielle Bogdan; and 19 great-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren, Cooper Bahr, Kaleigha Irwin, Kaedin, Mason and Emma Richardson , Brendan and Ryan Schmiess, Lauren, Baden and Corbin Bouvier, Elliot Balas, Jade, Pandora and Isabelle Grismer, Austin, Carson and Emmett Grismer, Kord Woolsey and Sadie LeBruno.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 15th, 2010 at 3:00 pm in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with burial to follow at a later date.  Pastor Bill Thomson will officiate.  For those so wishing, donations may be made to the CNIB, 2550 Broad St., Regina, SK. S4P 9Z9 or to a charity of one’s choice.
