Olga Sikorski

Olga Sikorski of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 90 years of age.  She was born to parents Michael and Eva Lozinski and was raised in the Hubbard/Ituna area.

Olga was a lover of anything furry.  She was an excellent seamstress, Ukrainian cook and baker.  She enjoyed having Sunday suppers and get togethers with the family.

Olga was a faithful member of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Moose Jaw congregation for many years.  She looked forward to God’s assurance of a resurrection hope (John 5:28,29) and had faith in the Bible’s promise of living on a paradise earth. (Psalm 37:29)

Olga was predeceased by her parents, Michael and Eva Lozinski; in-laws, Joseph and Antonina Sikorski; siblings: Mary (Mike) Pawlust, Gordon and John Lozinski; in-laws, Gladys (Ron) Allman and Joe (Margaret) Sikorski.

She is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, James Sikorski; sons, Kim (Elaine) and Terry (Nadine); sister, Madeline Ripa; brother-in-law, Allan (Theresa) Sikorski; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Olga’s wishes, no Funeral Service will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Shirese Noble Funeral Director 306-693-4550

My sincere condolences to Jim, Kim, Terry and the rest of the family. Olga (and Jim) always treated me so kindly as a young guy – something you don’t forget. We look forward to seeing her again in the near future.
