Christine & family, thank you for sharing your Father/Grandfather with our family. He was a true gentleman. He was wise, gentle, kind, loving, caring, funloving/living, sensitive, forgiving, accepting, handsome, talented, gifted, generous, friendly, funny, etc. I believe he lived by the poem, Desiderata, because I know he loved it.
I thank God for the time he was in our life. When I think of time or look at a clock, I cannot help, but think of your Father & my Mother, because they both had a love for clocks. I loved when he played his violin & accordian & encouraged Jordan to play.
He was grateful for everything he had in his life. He was so positive & had a great attitude, no matter what life through at him. He went with the flow. When he was diagnosed with macular degeneration disease & his license was revoked, he just said, “what can you do, it is what it is”. My wish, is to be a little like Papa Joe.
Our sincere sympathies you & your family. Keep his memories close. He is always with you. You are a part of him & he will remain in your heart.
Take care, be good to yourself, be safe, & stay well.
Hugs, Janice, Conrad, Jordan, Joseph & Mocha.
