DOUGLAS EUGENE POLLARD

June 11th, 1955 – March 3rd, 2026

Douglas Eugene Pollard aged 70 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026.

Doug’s favourite saying was “Well, It Is What It Is!” And what it was, was a life filled with joy, laughter and the unique ability to turn any experience into a great time, or new acquaintance into a good friend.  It is heartbreaking that the “STACHE” has left this adventure we call life, and he will be forever loved and missed!

At Doug’s request, there will not be a formal Celebration of Life – Instead, think of a fun time spent with Doug (SMILE) and let that be his celebration!

Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

Colleen, we are very sad to hear of Doug’s passing.
We remember with fondness our Ormiston neighbours.
I will be forever grateful for all of the times he was able to help me and our son Michael start the skidoo when Tim was at work.
I could never get the darn thing to start.
Sincerely Tim and Betty Sherwin and family

Our deepest sympathies to Colleen and family. Doug was always a tease and a joker. Memories of his time spent at the arena at Oro Lake are treasured by Trina and us. May your many happy memories help you through this difficult time.

We are so sorry for your loss, Colleen. Doug was truly one of a kind—always the first to offer help wherever he could and always making everyone around him laugh. He was such a great friend, and we are so very grateful for the times we spent together—on the road or out for a coffee. He will be remembered so fondly. Sending you love and strength during this difficult time. Randy and Lori
