Scotty Park
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Scotty Park.
Originally from Lanark county, Ontario, Scotty came west at a young age, beginning his life filled with hard work, lasting relationships and cherished memories.
He began working with PFRA Soil Conservation, a career that became part of his life on the prairie. It was a small Saskatchewan community of Val Marie that he met the love of his life Noella Sincennes. The two married May 27, 1958, beginning a lifetime of love, partnership and family.
Dad had a deep love for the outdoors and found enjoyment in nature. Some of his happiest times were spent hunting at his cabin in the north with family and friends. Bird hunting, fishing and camping were many adventures he enjoyed and made treasured memories by those who shared them with him.
Family was always important to him. They enjoyed several trips to Las Vegas with family members, especially Aunty Bea. Dad would often be seen cheering on a grandson at hockey games or attending musical recital with his grand daughters. He enjoyed adventures to the wild animal park or attending 18 inning ball games.
Dad was known for his meticulous nature and pride he took in maintaining their yard.
He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 68 years, Noella and his family who brought him so much pride and happiness.
Dad was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Sherry Park; parents, Charles and Isabelle Park, brother Clarence Park as well as numerous brother and sister in laws.
He is survived by his wife, Noella; son, Gayle Park and his family: grandson Gregory Park (Hayley), great grand children: Collyns, Austin and Brett, and grandson Brayden Park (Kirra); daughter, Kim (Doug) Isted and their family: granddaugter Amanda (Troy) Gabel, great grandchildren: Avery, Jordyn and Anders, granddaughter Chelsey Isted (Shane) with great grandson, Kade; daughter, Debbie (Wallace) Park Quilty and her family, DoniRae (Scott) Schaffer, great granddaughter: Braelynn, granddaughter Kaitlyn with great granddaughter, Lennon. Dad is also survived by his sister-in-law Yvonne Nelson and brother-in-law, Roger (Donna) Sincennes along with extended family members and friends.
