Ronald Ozog
Ronald (Ron) Ozog, aged 73 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, with family by his side.
Ron was born in Moose Jaw on May 12th, 1953, where he was raised by his parents, Cecil and Mary. He was a certified welder, though he spent much of his time performing precision metal machining work at the family business, Pascoe’s Machine & Welding. Ron was an expert at his craft and enjoyed using his skills to help others.
Ron was the type of person who always showed up with a passion, whether you needed something fabricated, your snow shovelled, your car tuned up, or your windshield wipers changed. He lived these values every day and instilled them in his children growing up. He cared deeply about his friends and neighbours. He had many fond memories of drag-racing, motorcycle and road trips to the US and BC, collecting cars and motorcycles, drives to the auction barn, and quiet backyard and garage brews.
Ron was a devoted husband of 45 years to his wife Kathy. They would spend much of their free time enjoying a Purdy Party on lawn chairs out under the prairie sky at Purdy farms. Ron was also incredibly proud of his children, Allison and Robert, and cherished his time with both. Ron shared some special home-cooked meals and visits with Allison, Derek, and Jaxon. He also enjoyed snuggles with service dog puppies. Ron spent time with Rob and Jessica, holding his baby grandson Jack and later watching videos of Jack speeding on his bike.
Ron is survived by his wife, Kathy; daughter, Allison (Derek) and Jaxon; and son, Rob (Jessica) and Jack. His family mourns his loss deeply.
A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held on Friday, October 23rd, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the WaWa Shrine Club, 1767 Main St N in Moose Jaw. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

My condolences to the Ozog families for their loss of Ron. He was a character at times with his witty humor. RIP Ron.
Very sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. We grew up together on the east side and went to the same school for 8 years. Great guy, great family.
Cathy, I’ve been thinking of you and your family. There are no words that can ease your pain with the loss of Ron. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.
So very sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. Sincere condolences to all family members. Ron will be dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
So sorry to hear of Ron’s passing. He was a great pal . We went to the same school and raced cars together for years. . He was a welder and machinist and my grandfather was shop owner as well in Aylesbury.,
My sympathy for the passing of Ron. I went to school with Cathy at Brownlee School with here sister and 2 brothers. I also latter in life dealt with Ron, Larry and their dad for almost ever. Passos machine shop was a great place to purchase repairs or get Ron to modify driveline for my snow blower on the tractor. Their dad Cecil lived in Brownlee and worked part of 1 day for my uncle Carl. Till Carl who had a short temper, walked 3 miles back to town as he would not put up with the complaints.
Our deepest condolences to all of Ron’s family. We dealt with Ron and Larry for many years. Ron always did a good job. He was a super guy to deal with. We still miss them both very much.
