MARGARET MINNIE NOBLE

May 22nd, 1933 – October 17th, 2024

With sadness the family of Margaret Minnie Noble announce her passing on Thursday, October 17th, 2024, at the age of 91 years, after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Margaret was born in Gravelbourg, SK to Gus and Agnes Trebes, where she spent her early years.  At 9 years old she moved to Moose Jaw with her family, finished school and started work as a secretary.  In 1955 she married Gordon Noble, and they spent the next few years working in Moose Jaw, SK and starting their family.  In 1959 they moved to the country and began farming, growing crops and operating a Dairy in the Petrolia District.

At age 38, after the children were in school, Margaret began working part-time at Moose Jaw Co-op in the dry goods department.  In her early 40’s, Margaret and Gordon started going on winter holidays and by 1990 decided that Scottsdale, Arizona was where they wanted to spend their winters, and they did so for the next 18 years.

In 2000, Margaret and Gordon sold their farm and retired in Medicine Hat, AB and in 2016, they moved back to Moose Jaw to be closer to family as they aged and required more help.

Margaret was a woman who lived her life with class and dignity and will always be remembered that way.  She was always very gracious and hospitable.

She was predeceased by her stillborn baby sister in 1937; brother, Albert in 1946; parents, Gus in 1964 and Agnes in 1982; and the love of her life, Gordon in 2021.  Margaret leaves to mourn her passing: son, Dan (Bev); daughters, Jillian and Donna; grandchildren: Crystal, Murray (Alana), Trina (Jason), Krista (Darren), Bonnie (Mike), Kurtis (Celeste), Joshua (Erika), Kevin (Nicole), Brian, and Christina (Jason); as well as 20 great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Reverend Jeff Tank will officiate and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery.  Those not able to attend may view the service by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Michelle Ellis, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
