Vivian Lynne Moerike, aged 78 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Wednesday, May 11th, 2022.  She was predeceased by her parents, Allan and Lena (Sapergia) McIntyre.  Lynne is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bryan; siblings: Barry (Evelyn), Delee (Randy), Duncan (Bev), Kim (Linda), and Debbie (Ralph); sons, Wade (Connie), Darcy (Rhondi), and Paul (Derenda); grandchildren: Amy, Dalton, Jesse, Mickey, Wynter, Dylan, Luke, Shelysha, Helen, Kate, Lindsay, Miranda, and Brendon; as well as many great-grandchildren.

Lynne was born in Vernon, BC on April 7th, 1944.  She was raised just west of Boharm, SK along with her 5 brothers and sisters.  She attended Royal George School and then attended high school in Moose Jaw.  Lynne later worked at Johnstone Dairies Café, where she met her husband, Bryan.  She raised her 3 boys on an acreage near Boharm.  Over the years she worked at Canadays, Moose Jaw Shopper, and briefly owned a cleaning company.  She was blessed with many grandchildren who loved and cherished her.  To them, and around town, she was known as the “laughing grandma” who was always cheerful and always had a welcoming smile and hugs for everyone.  Lynne had a passion for crafting and painting, baking her famous monster cookies, and often made homemade gifts for her family.  Bryan and Lynne spent their summers at their cabin at Nemeiben Lake, SK where they spent their days fishing and gardening, and made many good friends and memories.  Lynne attended Victory Church in Moose Jaw for many years, where she became a beloved member of the church community.  Lynne touched everyone she knew with her kindness and love.  She will be dearly missed and never forgotten by all who knew her.

Psalm 119:89-90 – “Forever, O Lord, your word is firmly fixed in the heavens.  Your faithfulness endures to all generations; you have established the earth, and it stands fast.”
