Beverley Allen “Bardy” Mercer

Beverley Allen “Bardy” Mercer, aged 76 years of Central Butte, Saskatchewan, passed away on Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026.

Bardy was born on May 28th, 1950 in New Brunswick and spent his working years as an Equipment Operator.  He had a love for the outdoors, spending much of his time camping, hunting, and fishing, as well as mowing his lawn and gardening – with a fondness for potatoes.  He was also a collector of brass objects and many other special treasures.  Most of all, Bardy enjoyed time spent with his family.

Bardy is survived by his wife, Cheryl; children: Crystal (Pat), Anthony, Hazen, Corey, Pamela (Kevin), Dave (Darlene), and Shane (Kathleen); his grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  

A private family service will be held at a later date to honour Bardy.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Bardy’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Andrew Pratt, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
