Mark Dennis Mayer

With a profound sense of grief and yet relief, we announce the passing of Mark Dennis Mayer, aged 59 years of Moose Jaw, SK on Sunday, January 3rd, 2021 at Providence Place.  He is at peace at last.

He was predeceased by his parents, Lorne and June Mayer; and brother, Kelly.  Mark is survived by his sister, Maureen (Doug) Armitage; nephew, Jay (Tara) Armitage and their daughters Ruby and Hazel; niece, Carrie (André) St Laurent and their sons Isaac and Leo. 

A Private Family Service will be held.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Mark’s name may be made to the Providence Place Foundation Inc, 100 – 2nd Ave NE, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8.

May the sun rise in front of me.
May the rain fall behind me, and the wind follow me.
May the Angels guard my travels,
for they know the road ahead of me.

    Sad to hear. Rest in peace. I remember an early ride we had. Maybe Mark’s first. Everyone was far from experienced. We were just out of high school. All had jobs and bikes were inexpensive. I think he had a Suzuki LS 850. Mark forgot to lean on a curve. We stopped and where’s Mark? He was hurt and I will always remember that ride. Sad.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a family member is such a difficult thing to face no matter what the circumstances.
