Gordon Paul Lee

December 5th, 1941 – February 16th, 2022

On Wednesday, February 16th, 2022 we lost a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Gordon Paul Lee.  He was predeceased by his parents, Lief and Jenny Lee; sister, Lorraine; and brother-in-law, Eldon.  Gordon leaves his beloved wife, Margaret; sons: Paul (Lorrie), Curtis, and Justin (Roxan); grandchildren: Colten (Courtney), Kayla (Keegan), Kendal, Lola, Jake, Jager, and Jett; great-grandchildren: Adalee, Hudson, and Watson; extended family: Amanda, Scott, and Trevor; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

Gordon lived his whole life in Milestone, SK farming and working with his cattle.  He was especially fond of the cattle.  Gordon was very involved with his grandchildren, making time for all the concerts, sporting events, birthdays, and family gatherings.  He had quite the sense of humour, and loved telling stories and expressing his opinions.  Everyone has a Gordon story.

A Private Family Service will be held.  In lieu of cards and flowers, please share a Gordy story.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

I send my sincere condolences to you and to your family during this time of sorrow. The Bible gives a real hope and it promises that your loved one will soon come back to life in a peaceful paradise on the earth where death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4)

Dear Family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that our Creator knows the pain and loss you feel. Matthew 10: 29-31 tells us that he knows everything about us and your dear loved one. It says, “Two sparrows sell for a coin of small value, do they not? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’ knowledge. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. So have no fear; you are worth more than many sparrows.” He keeps them safe in his memory until it’s time to bring them back to a world free from all the things that harm us. Revelation 21:4 says, “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Our Creator promises that we will see our loved ones again when death is done away with. I hope this brings you comfort.

Dear Margaret and family. We had so many marvellous times together with both of you. We will never forget Gordys never ending stories. He was never stuck for words and some of his theories were quite different but always hilarious. We loved the trips we shared as there was never a dull moment travelling with Gordon!!!
His family was definitely number one. He knew there wasn’t another woman in the world that would pamper and love him the way Margaret did and for that we was forever grateful. What a wonderful match you two were. We feel so very fortunate to have been close friends for over 40 years. We will truly miss Gordys little giggle and snickering while he thought up his next story. He brought so many good times and laughter to all of us. Loved you Gordon. Rest In Peace. You deserve a rest. Our sincere sympathy to all the Lee family from the entire Dreger family.

Dear Lee Family, Richard and I are so sorry about the passing of Gordon, husband, father and grandfather. Gordon was an interesting person to say the least and without a doubt he will be missed. Although we only knew Gordon for a few years, we won’t forget him, always had a good story, an interesting conversationalist. Take care Margaret. Ellen and Richard Simpson, Regina.
