Leanne Susan Kempter

June 27th, 1959 – August 14th, 2021

Leanne Susan Kempter reunited with her son Gerald on Saturday, August 14th, 2021.  Leanne bravely took on and fought cancer for over 11 years, just so she could enjoy as much time with her family as possible.  Family meant everything to Leanne.  She never passed up a chance to cheer on her kids or grandkids in their sports, or support them with whatever event they had going on.  Those times brought Leanne the greatest joy.

Left to cherish Leanne is her devoted husband, Uwe; sons, Anthony (Natasha) and Brad (Tammy); and her daughters-in-law, Andrea and Danielle.  Also missing Leanne are her pride and joy – her grandchildren: Preston, Logan, Brodi, Tiarra, Hailey, Hunter, Alex and Arianna.  Leanne is also survived by her sisters: Marian (George), Sandra (Wayne), Heather (Bill), Debbie, and Tracey (Fairon); brother, Guy; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Leanne was not only predeceased by her son Gerald, but also her parents, Roy and Mae; brothers: Roy, Clayton and Peter; as well as other family members.

We love you Leanne –
and we will miss you more than words can say.

“Time Spent With Family, Is Worth Every Second”

A Memorial Tea will be held on Friday, August 20th, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Father George Thattuparampil will officiate and interment will take place at Sunset Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Leanne’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Andrew Pratt Funeral Director 306-693-4550

    Swear Uwe and family

Marie and I would like to express our deepest sympathy on Leanne’s passing. We knew that she had cancer for many years but hoped that she would beat it. Now she’ll be cheering all the grandchildren on from above. Please keep your cherished memories close to you all and know that you all now have a guardian angel looking over you.
