ERNA “ERNIE” CLARA KAHRS (Schatz)
September 15th, 1937 – May 28th, 2014

Surrounded by her husband of 53 years, Jerry and her extended family, whom she loved very much – Greg, Sheila, Molly, Eric, Steven and Larissa, Erna peacefully passed away on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014 in the Moose Jaw Union Hospital.  She was predeceased by her parents, one brother, two sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law.  Erna is survived by her sisters: Edith Volk of Winnipeg, Lily (Alfred) Keller of Melville and Audrey Ortt of Grenfell; brothers, Emil (Kathy) of Fort Qu’Appelle and Lorne of Regina; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Reverend Doug Shepherd will officiate and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Erna’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
