Kevin Dale Greensides

With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Kevin Dale Greensides.  Kevin passed away peacefully at the age of 68 years on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, surrounded by love and family.

Kevin grew up in Moose Jaw, SK where he was born October 1st, 1957.  He was very active in sports for much of his life.  As a youngster, he played Little League Baseball in the ball diamonds behind his house.  As a teen he played recreational hockey.  He was also a shuffleboard champion, and a mean pool shark.

Whenever he wasn’t working at the service station, Kevin could be found at his favourite hangout, High Billiards, where he arguably made more money than his job.

Kevin was known for his strong work ethic.  From 1973 to 1988 he worked in the family business at Marv’s Subway Texaco.  He made very memorable moments working beside his father and brothers.  When the station closed, Kevin went to work on the pipelines.  The pipeline took him all over the country, which helped make a memorable trip with his family.  To be closer to home, Kevin worked at Kalium for a few years.  He then worked for his longtime friend’s business, J Wilk Landscaping.  He worked there until his health forced him to retire.

In his downtime, Kevin could be found Sunday driving or making random drop ins to friends and family and playing cards after supper with family.

Kevin is welcomed to rest by his parents, Marv and Doreen; baby sister, Marla; and uncles and aunts.  Kevin’s legacy is carried on by the girls, Laura and Stacee (Brantford); the mother of his children, Shelley; grandchildren: Emalia, Max, and Claire; siblings: Judy, Blair, Kirk, Kathy and their spouses; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Come and Go Celebration of Kevin’s Life will be held on Friday, December 5th, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Moose Jaw Shriners Club, 1767 Main St N in Moose Jaw.  Please wear your favourite sports jersey and come have a last one with Kevin.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Shirese Noble Funeral Director 306-693-4550
