Mike Gorgichuk

Mike Gorgichuk, aged 79 years of the Caron district, passed away on Saturday, May 26 th, 2007. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 30 th, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home (268 Mulberry Lane) with Pastor John Duerksen officiating. Mike was born at Viceroy Sask., on February 26 th, 1928. He married Shirley Best on June 26 th, 1953 & together they worked and farmed in the Caron area until Mike’s passing. Mike was predeceased by his parents Vasile & Annie Gorgichuk; one sister Mary Birchard. He will be sadly missed & lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Shirley; children: Penny Glenn, Michael (Leslie), Krystol (Randy) McDowell, Robin (Lisa), Shir-lea Ann (Dean) Hodgson; 11 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren; godmother, Mary Martin; brother, Dan (Mary)Gorgichuk; sister, Olga Foster & numerous other relatives & friends.
