GREGORY JOHN GARDNER
December 21st, 1960 – December 13th, 2025
With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Gregory John Gardner on Saturday, December 13th, 2025. Greg was born in Calgary, Alberta. He grew up in Alberta and worked at various jobs, including XL Beef. Greg moved to Saskatchewan in 1990 with his parents and resided in Tugaske, SK. He worked for several farmers, Paice Construction, West Bridgeford Meats, Tugaske Co-op, and Central Butte Feeds.
He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Maridell Gardner, and brother, Robert Gardner. Greg is loved and will be remembered by his partner, Colleen Mehalicz; son, Riley Gardner; sister, Dianne (Ted) Allan; nieces, Laura (Colin) Burndred and Lindsay (Craig) Brandon; great-nephews: Cole, Owen, and Oliver; numerous cousins and friends; and life-long friend, Lee (Tuesday) Jensen.
Greg loved all animals, photography, and spending time outdoors. He gathered stray cats, built them warm shelters, and made sure no stray ever went hungry.
A Celebration of Greg’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 20th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in Tugaske Hall, with Sharon Schultz officiating. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Greg’s name may be made to your local animal shelter. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.
