THOMAS (TOM) JOHN GALLAUGHER

July 2nd, 1948 – August 2nd, 2025

Thomas (Tom) John Gallaugher passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, with the love of his family surrounding him.  Leaving to celebrate his life are his wife of 39 years, Dina; son, Russell (our Brittany and Everett); grandson, Aydan; sister, Judy (Bill) Deyo; sister-in-law, Cathy Gallaugher; brothers-in-law: Russell (Faye) Andrews, Tim (Rose) Andrews, Lance (Jill) Andrews, Mark (Jolie) Andrews, and Clayton (Sheila) Andrews; as well as many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

With a life-long love of farming, the land, his community, and his animals came the ability to make anyone feel welcome!  Tom’s loving personality and great sense of humor made him touch the lives of all who knew him.  His good neighbour policy was always there, from an encouraging word to a helping hand, he always put others before himself.  Tom passed away at the age of 77 years at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, SK, with a smile on his face and a wink in his eye!

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 11th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Moose Jaw Alliance Church, 14 Neslia Place, Moose Jaw, SK with Pastor Marvin Seaborg officiating. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Tom’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 7T1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

Our condolences to the Gallaugher family on the passing of Tom, including Judy (Bill). It sounds like he had a good life.

Although we live in Saskatoon, we were from Moose Jaw (wife Susan; father Parr, mother Hill from Boharm originally). My great grandfather George Lamb had a home on the 8 mile road, his son Bruce, my grandfather, had businesses in Belbeck. My mother was one of the Baird girls from Pasqua (sister Jean Stirton from Boharm).
