Carol Anne Farrar
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Anne Farrar on Saturday, August 29th, 2026, at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Carol was born on August 5th, 1950 in Regina, SK.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Jeanette Armstrong. Carol will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Wayne Farrar; daughters: Connie (Bobby Joe) Grieve, Sue Farrar, and Shannon (Melissa) Farrar; grandchildren: Cody, Reyhan, Kelsey, Jessica, Oliver, and Huxley; siblings: Doug (Diane) Armstrong, Bev Brecht, and Ed Armstrong; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carol worked at the A&W on Caribou Street, Dairy Queen at both locations in Moose Jaw, and finally at the Hallmark Store in the mall, from which she retired. She was an avid bowler and walker. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, and all sorts of crafts. Carol enjoyed Elvis’ music and went to many Elvis impersonator concerts. She enjoyed curling and was excited to meet the curlers.
Carol spent every day with her mom until Jeanette’s passing. They would often be spotted at the Uptown Café and at many craft shows. The family spent countless hours having meals together and playing cards. Carol would buy a new game every year that we would have to learn at Christmas gatherings.
Carol will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who’s lives she touched.
The family would like to thank Dr. G.B. Van Heerden, Dr. Pilon, and all of the staff on the Medicine Ward that looked after Carol.
A private family celebration of Carol’s life will be held a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
