Trista Dawn Ehmann

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Trista Dawn Ehmann of Moose Jaw, SK on Friday, May 1st, 2026, at the age of 40 years.  

Trista was born on April 27th, 1986, in Regina, SK.  She attended high school in Regina and Calgary, AB.  During the summer months, she could often be found running around the family farm in Glentworth, SK or skipping along the shores of Wee Too Beach at the Ehmann family cottage.  Trista had a big personality and left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.  She loved deeply, wore her heart on her sleeve, and was never afraid to speak her mind.  Above all else, her greatest joy in life was her three children: Brody, Judah, and Dalila.  She was immensely proud of all their accomplishments and would light up whenever she spoke about them.  Trista also shared a strong love and bond with animals and cherished the family pets throughout her life.  

She was predeceased by her father, Shane Kohl; her grandparents:  Terry and Bill Carefoot, Helen and Edward Ehmann, Bill Kohl, and Sam Jackson; as well as her great-grandparents, Lila Mitchell, and David and Lucille Crooks.  Trista will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her children: Brody, Judah, and Dalila Palmier; parents, Paula Jackson and Mark Ehmann; sister, Carley Ehmann and family; grandmother, Mary Kohl; great-grandfather, Elvin Mitchell; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.  

A private family service will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Trista’s memory may be made to a Humane Society in the community of your choice.   Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Andrew Pratt, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
