DORA DAVIES (née: Geib)
April 4th, 1931 – March 16th, 2026
It is with deep sadness that the family of Dora Davies, beloved Mother, Grandmother, Grannie, Auntie and Friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 16th, 2026, at the age of 94 years.
Dora was born to Jacob and Freda Geib and was the second youngest of fourteen children. She grew up on the family farm near Spring Valley, SK. In 1957 she married Peter Davies and lived in Moose Jaw, SK.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Feda Geib; husband, Peter; daughter, Laura; six brothers and seven sisters. Dora is survived by her daughter, Anne (Neil) Reddekopp; son, Joe Davies; grandchildren, Laura (Justin) Lewis and Matthew (Sophia) Reddekopp; great-grandsons: Thomas, James, Oliver, William, and Henry; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Dora loved music and business. She was an excellent real estate salesperson and successful tax and accounting entrepreneur. She was known for her hospitality, creative endeavors, polka music, and park-like flower gardens. All enjoyed her positive energy and zest for life.
The family would like to thank Sherbrooke Community Centre for the loving and extraordinary care she received.
A Celebration of Dora’s Life will be held on Friday, May 22nd, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Dora Davies may be made to Sherbrooke Foundation, 401 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7H 2E7 or by visiting Sherbrookefoundations.ca. Sad to hear. Dora was a great friend , business advisor and Tax Consultant for many years for me. We had many great times together.

I first met Dora & Pete around 1968 as accountants.
Next time into her office was 2012 ish.
