FREDERICK ALMOND “AL” CHURCH
March 30th, 1950 – January 6th, 2026
Frederick Almond “Al” Church aged 75 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026.
He was predeceased by his wife, Kathy; parents, Howard and Helen Church; Kathy’s parents, Sam and Olive Heape; and sister-in-law, Meg and Richard Baker. Al will be remembered forever in the hearts of his sisters: Darlene Haney (Bob – deceased) and her sons Bill and Geoff, Fern Cameron (Leo – deceased) and her son Barry; brother, Kelly (Sue); sisters-in-law: Carol Heape (Tom – deceased), Evelyn Heape (Dave – deceased), and Linda Heape (Wayne – deceased); as well as many nieces and nephews. All had a spot in Al’s heart.
A Memorial Tea will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate, and interment will take place in Rosedale Cemetery. Those not able to attend may view the service by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Al’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Missing you already, but grateful for all we shared.

Words cannot express how saddened Mom, Bill ,myself and my girls felt when we heard the news about Al.
He held a very special place in all of our hearts with so many fond and really really good memories.
We each shared a special closeness with him which we will cherish always.
Our sincerest condolences and thoughts have been with you all and will be today as you remember your brother, uncle,cousin, nephew, and a friend he was a huge part of our family and will be dearly missed.
