Sending love and hugs to you all
Dear Cousins Doug, Donna, Greg and spouses and kids. It was a sad phone call to receive hearing of Auntie Dorothy’s passing. But as always in those moments the wonderful memories of family time come flooding in. Auntie Dorothy and Uncle Howard were always favourites of our family. Such fun joking, laughing, playing games and always making us feel welcome. Auntie Dorothy and my mother, Margaret Cassidy were like sisters they were so close. My mum loved her visits to Buffalo Pound bird watching and picnics on the lake. I really think going home meant most to her by spending time with her brother Howard and Dorothy. When the phone would ring and I would see “Auntie Dorothy” calling I always made sure I had a cup of coffee or depending on the time of day a glass of wine ready because there never was a quick chat with my lovely Auntie Dorothy. I am truly sorry for your loss of a wonderful, mother, wife grandmother, friend sister in law and of course Beloved Auntie.
Love and hugs from your Cousin Annie and Gary
