EUNICE HAZEL BRADSHAW (née: King; Lissel)

1927 – 2024

Eunice Hazel Bradshaw (née: King; Lissel), mother to Stuart (Paulette), Candace, Avril (Rob), Bob; stepmother to Heather, Bonnie (Lauris), Donald (Rona), passed away at 7:01 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.  Her final moments were spent peacefully, surrounded by loving friends and family.

Known for her gregarious nature, generous heart, and zest for life, Eunice was a dedicated card player, loved socializing, and was a faithful volunteer for community service.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  When asked what she would like in her obituary, she stated “I enjoy my life, have a party”.  

Eunice’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought into life, not the sadness of her passing.

Eunice is survived by her brother, Bill (Jean) King; sister-in-law, Ruth Laybourne; brother-in-law, Bill (Sandi) Bradshaw; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, as well as her beloved “Elbow daughters”.  

A Celebration of Eunice’s Life will be held on Saturday, August 17th, 2024 at the Harbor Community Center in Elbow, Saskatchewan.  A tea is planned to take place from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and the family asks for anyone with fond memories, stories, or keepsakes to feel free to attend and share.
