Boorman, Chris “ROCKY”

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our brother Rocky on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at the young age of 62 years.  Rocky is survived by his brothers, Terry (Marina), John and Jim (Dana); nephews: Layne, Riley and Ronnie; nieces: Franky, Samantha and Terrina; great-nieces, Ivalyn and Lennyn; as well as Darlene and the LaRose family.  Rocky was predeceased by his parents, Marge Hurtig (Boorman) and Ron Boorman.

Rocky has touched the lives of not only his family but also hundreds, if not thousands of others with his crazy genuine character.  Although the Boorman family cannot put their loss into words, they can look up and smile knowing Rocky is back in the arms of his/our mother Marge.  He truly was one of the kindest men you’ll ever meet.

Friends and relatives can join us in celebrating Rocky’s life on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home with coffee to follow at the Heritage Inn, 1590 Main St N, Moose Jaw, SK.  A Funeral Processional Ride in Rocky’s honour will leave the Southland Mall on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. with kickstands up at noon.  All riders welcome.  Those unable to attend the service are invited to watch virtually by going to www.moosejawfuneralhome.com/webcast/.  A private family burial to follow at a later date.

Donations may be made in Rocky’s name to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143, Regina, SK S4P 3G7.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  James Murdock, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

What a beautiful tribute! We loved hearing the stories about Rocky told with such love and conviction. From our own memories, it was always so clear the commitment you all had to each other and all family! We remember, just as you spoke about , Rocky giving rides on his Harley at family reunions Sending you love and our deepest condolences
