DENIS WAYNE BIETTE

1943 – 2025

The family wishes to announce that Wayne Biette, late of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 16th, 2025 at the age of 82 years.

Wayne was born in Coronation, Alberta and their young family moved around to various locations in Alberta until finally relocating to southeast Sask, where he graduated high school in Bienfait, and then settled in Estevan.  This is where Wayne met and then married Gail Beahm and raised their family.  Upon retiring, Wayne and Gail moved to an acreage near Hudson Bay, SK where he began new era of outdoor adventures alongside his brother Darold, which created an everlasting, and some would say long overdue, bond between the two.  Wayne and Gail then made their final move to Moose Jaw where they lived out their final years.

He was predeceased by his wife, Gail; parents, Denis and Evelyn; and siblings: Garry, Lareine, Shirley (Paul), and Don.  Wayne is survived by his sons, Marcel (Sheri) and Wesley (Sonja); grandchildren: Jen (Keegan), Cam, Alitha (Karl), Owen, and Roman; great-grandchildren: Luca, Madison, Brody, and Autumn; siblings: Wendy (Hartley), Allen (Marcia), Charlotte, and Darold (Corrine); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and close family friends.

As per Wayne’s wishes, there will not be a formal service.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Shirese Noble Funeral Director 306-693-4550

Condolences to the Biette families. Wayne was our boys’ Scout leader and was a great teacher and story teller, especially on all the camping trips

Wayne received the Lieutenant Governor’s Medal for his work with the Boy Scouts.

He co-signed 3 loans for family members to receive Post Secondary Education.

Gail & Wayne attended one of my picnics. They were terrific guests: Wayne tended the campfire all weekend, & prepared Sunday breakfast, while Gail was always tidying up.
