Donald “Donnie” Gary Belbin
Donald “Donnie” Gary Belbin aged 72 years of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, passed away on Thursday, August 13th, 2026. Donnie was born on April 8th, 1954 in Moose Jaw. All his life he had a passion for music, and he played the trumpet and coronet. Donnie was part of the Moose Jaw Lions A Band and was fortunate to travel to Europe with them. In Amsterdam, they won a gold medal for their performance.
He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Bernice Belbin. Donnie is survived by his sister, Patty Belbin; and nephews, Brian and Aaron Barth.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pioneer Lodge for the exceptional care they provided to Donnie.
A private family service will be held at a later date to honour Donnie. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Donnie’s name may be made to the Pioneer Lodge Recreation Fund, 1000 Albert St, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2Y2. I will always remember the summer’s Donny spent with us as kids on the farm. Many happy times and lots of laughs we had. RIP Donny

Donnie was such a good guy. Most of my memories are of when he was a kid. Last time I saw him was at the family reunion in Mossleigh years ago. So glad he came.
