We loved brother Gordon. It was evident in his life , he followed Jesus. He was a faithful, compassionate and kind friend. He had wisdom and knowledge, in many areas and was a pleasure to visit with. We will truly miss him. (Til we meet again.)

Gord ( Mister McIvor) was my French teacher in high school and certainly one of my favourite teachers ever. He treated his students with respect and a caring attitude. He and Rae were a wonderful couple and set a great example for all of us to follow.

Mr McIvor – what a great teacher. I still remember his smile when he asked “Habitez-vous à Boharm” when we could not answer his questions in French. He was a favourite teacher of many and still greeted me 50+ years later. I am sorry for your loss.
