Irene Marie Werdal
Irene Marie Werdal, aged 79 years of Marquis, SK passed away on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020. Irene was born in Davidson, SK and was the oldest of three girls. She married Leonard Werdal on June 8th, 1963 and together they raised two daughters. They moved to Marquis in 1988 and operated the Marquis Store until her passing. Irene was a loving wife and mother, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Mary Arndt; sister, Linda; and brother-in-law, Melvin. Irene will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 57 years, Leonard; daughter, Sandra (Gerald) and their children Tyler and Kaitlyn (Bradon); daughter, Sharon (Nath); sister, Marleen (Russell); sister-in-law, Eileen; special caring friend, Noreen; as well as numerous other relatives. Due to the current health situation, a Private Family Service will be held to honour Irene. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Irene’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 7T1. Len and all of the families, Hugs and more hugs to you all. I shed a tear when reading this news. A gem of woman who loved all of you Tenfold. A hard worker, excellent cook….. just ask the families…. She was treated everyone like family.
God had the perfect job for her in being a daughter , a wife, a Mom and of course a Grandma.
Her memory will be eternal. She was always so kind to us.
