Annie “Barbara” Turnbull
Annie “Barbara” Turnbull, aged 72 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22nd, 2020. Barbara loved to keep busy by golfing, quilting and travelling, but most of all, she loved spending time with friends and family. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Lleweyllyn and Marion. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years, Bob; daughter, Terri-Lee (Steven) and son, Robbie (Lisa); four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brothers, Blaire and Lewis and sisters, Judy and Deanne. Due to the health restrictions currently in place, a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s name may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt Funeral Director 306-693-4550.
Barb will be very missed. She was the closest thing to a big sister that I ever had. Barb and Bob were our first neighbours in good old Shannon Park PMQs and over the years we followed each other from coast to coast. We spent hours playing cards and being silly. Bob, Dee let us know of Barbara’s passing, we are very sorry for your loss. I remember one of Barbara’s first visits to the farm as a young bride. She was so much fun! She talked so fast and with that great Newfoundland accent we sometimes had trouble keeping up with her conversations, but there was never a dull moment when she was here.
