Betty Lorraine Szwagierczak

Betty Lorraine Szwagierczak, aged 74 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Monday, September 23rd, 2013.  In keeping with Betty’s wishes, no Funeral Service will be held.  She was born in Neepawa, MB and received her education there.  She married Steven on May 3rd, 1958 in Neepawa (Eden) and then moved to Moose Jaw in 1969, where she has resided until her passing.  In Moose Jaw, Betty babysat, enjoyed gardening and baking, and loved her grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Shirley; a brother in infancy; and son-in-law, Mike.  Betty will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Steven; daughters: Barb, Linda, Debra, Katherine and Kristine; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Frederick and Donald.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St. W., Moose Jaw, SK S6H 2M2.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director. 306-693-4550.
