Kenneth Edward Straub

Kenneth Edward Straub, aged 75 years of Moose Jaw, SK., passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Hospital on Thursday, March 22nd, 2018. Ken was predeceased by his father, Edward Straub and brother, Bill Straub. Ken is lovingly remembered by his wife, Glenda, to whom he was married to for 52 years; son, Brad (Calista);  grandchildren, Isabell and Korben; mother, Elsie Straub; sisters, Darlene (Dwight) Thompson, Jean (Howard) Packard, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and many special friends. Ken was a people person, sharing his hobbies and talents with many special family members and friends. He loved his ‘64 Chevy Impala Super Sport, motorcycles, fishing and anything outdoors. He was the light of our lives and an inspiration to all who knew him. We will miss him dearly. Our family wishes to thank E.M.S staff and staff on the Intensive Care and Medical Units at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Hospital. The care you provided was exceptional and your kindness will be forever remembered. A special thank you to Dr. Haver, Dr. Tarhuni, Dr. Ramadan and Dr. Niaz, as your support and kindness were greatly appreciated. We would also like to thank Carla from the COPD Self-Management Program and Home Oxygen Inc. The Memorial Reception to celebrate Ken’s life will be held on Wednesday, March 28th, 2018 at 1:30 PM in the Harvey Room at Moose Jaw Funeral Home.
