Wilfred Eldred Stevens

Wilfred Eldred Stevens of the Marquis district went to be with his Lord and Saviour on February 28th, 2008. We mourn his passing but celebrate his new home in heaven. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Moose Jaw Funeral Home with Pastor Barry Gammie officiating. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Sarah Stevens, brother Jerry Stevens, one infant daughter Judy, he leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 58 years Annie, sons Ken, Byron (Arlene), Kelvin (Gail), Randy (Janice), Allan (Karen); daughter Sandra; 20 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; sisters Evelyn, Audrey, Lynette and Dorothy. Wilf was a World War II veteran serving overseas for 4 years. He was a longtime farmer in the Crestwynd, Old Wives and Marquis districts. Wilf farmed all of his life until his last harvest in 2007.
