Anne Stevens
Anne Stevens, aged 92 years of Moose Jaw, SK went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Friday, October 19th, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred; daughter, Judy; brothers, Helmut and Wilf; and sisters, Freda and Gertie. Anne is survived by her brother, Kurt; sisters: Hulda, Erna and Ella; children: Ken, Bryon (Arlene), Kelvin (Gail), Randy (Janice), Allan (Karen), and Sandra; 20 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Ann was born in July 1926 on a farm in the Kelstern district. She attended 3 years at Briercrest Bible College where she later worked and met her future husband. She began her married life on a farm in the Crestwynd district. After 10 years they moved to Old Wives where they ran the general store and post office while still farming. In 1969 they relocated to the Marquis area where they continued to farm until 2007. After her husband’s passing, she resided in Moose Jaw, SK. Anne was a good homemaker for her family. She enjoyed gospel music, knitting, and of course her coffee. Her children would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Providence Place who showed her love and respect in her last years. There will be a family graveside service and then a gathering to celebrate her life. Gramma will be missed dearly but I will cherish the moments I remember with her. I am sad that I will never see her again here but know that one day we will meet again in heaven.
