Christopher John Skott

Christopher John Skott, a caring husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 17th, 2025, forever leaving a scar on the hearts of many.

Chris was not a complex man and was happiest behind the wheel of a semi-truck, driving down the highway.  In his time off from playing with the big trucks, he loved playing music and had an affinity for his guitars.

In keeping with Chris’ wishes, there will be no formal service.  May he find peace in his new journey.

“Death is not extinguishing the light.
It is putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.”

Rabindranath Tagore

Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550

Our deepest sympathies for all of Chris’ family. He was one of a kind and a daily visitor to our home until this last while when he was ill. He actually was over for coffee the day before he passed. We will miss him very much

Big trucks and an open highway, a large coffee and LOTS of good music to listen to along the way. I hope your new adventure/ journey is still full of great music, and no more struggles. I hope you’re playing some great tunes with our little brother, and our mom. There’s going to be an endless supply of great music in heaven. Miss you big brother ❤️
