Ilene (Sjoberg) Caragata

Ilene (Sjoberg) Caragata of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at 89 years of age. Ilene was born in Strathroy, ON, to Silas and Beatrice Zavitz.  Ilene was a loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and aunt.  She was loved by her family and she loved them.  Ilene was predeceased by her first husband, Leonard Caragata and recent husband, Don Sjoberg; son, Timmy Boxall; sister, Audrey Mundy; brother-in-law, Robert Mundy and daughter-in-law, Susan Caragata.  She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Steve Caragata and Rick (Marie) Caragata; granddaughter, Brandy (Kurtis) Pituley; Grandson, Devon (Bailey) Caragata; great grandchildren, Lennox, Fynleigh and Calder as well as brother, Larry (Donna Zavitz). In keeping with Ilene’s wishes a private family graveside will take place.  Those so wishing may make a donation in Ilene’s name to Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital 4101 Dewdney Ave. Regina, SK S4T 7T1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Cara Ashworth Funeral Director 306-693-4550
