Katherine “Kay” Elizabeth Shaw

Katherine “Kay” Elizabeth Shaw, aged 84 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Tuesday, June 21st, 2016.  The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 30th, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  Dave Foley will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery.  She was predeceased by her husband, Dennis; granddaughter, Christine Lynn Nicolson; son-in-law, Laurie Pearson; brother, Donavon Zorn; sister, Doreen Carson; sisters-in-law: Margaret Stephenson, Bessie Paice, and Bernice Shaw; brothers-in-law, Richard Stephenson and Doug Shaw; and nephew, Howie Paice.  Kay will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sharon (Lyle) Nicolson and Delores Pearson; son, Don (Diane) Shaw; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor (Ervin) Wolfe; brothers-in-law, Jack Paice and Earl Carson; sister-in-law, Clarice Zorn; as well as numerous other relatives.  Kay was born in Oakshella, SK on June 23rd, 1931.  She married Dennis Shaw on October 19th, 1950 in Whitewood, SK and move to Moose Jaw in 1954, where she has resided until her passing.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Kay’s name may be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre c/o Pasqua Hospital, 4101 Dewdney Ave, Regina, SK S4T 7T1.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550
