It is sad that a fine person has to face our enemy death. I personally may have mat Mervin? If not,
I still want to offer my sincere sympathy to the family, and some encouraging words as mentioned in the Bible at 1Corinthians 15 : 22 – 26.

We just heard this morning of the passing of Merv and wish to send our condolences to Ruth and family.
I have fond memories of the big policeman taking me for rides on his motorcycle.
Remembering seeing him standing on the corner in Moosejaw in his buffalo coat in the middle of winter and being such a big presence.
He will be missed by all.

Ruth and all the Schenk family, there are no words to convey how saddened we were to hear of Merv’s passing. I never met up with Merv that he didn’t have a smile and a big hello, how are you. He was such a friendly and honest person and that would be why he rose to the top of the MJPS. Always proud to say he was my cousin. Just to let you know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers in this time of sadness . Ken and Lois Kulach

Mrs Schenk and family. Thinking of you all as you grieve and remember Merv. He was always a fine gentleman . Merv was the first member I met when I came to the station for an interview and it was a pleasure to serve at Moose Jaw Police Service with chief Schenk. He served his community with distinction. Rest well my friend.
