Erna Margaret Rawlings

Erna Margaret Rawlings of Brownlee, Saskatchewan passed away on Saturday, April 3rd, 2010 at the age of 94. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 12th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Rev. Rick McCorrister will officiate and burial will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Margaret was predeceased by her husband Frederick; her parents Richard and Susan Schmidt, her sisters Emma, Elsie, Ida and Helen; and her brother Carl. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Marlene Donaldson, Jeannene (Robert) Demencuik; her son Frederick (Connie); granddaughter Krista Donaldson (Oliver Fringer); great grandchildren Avery and Ryker Fringer; her sister Mary Wesloski; and numerous nieces and nephews. A teacher by profession, Margaret had a wide variety of interests including the farm, gardening, music and literature. Each spring she looked forward to attending to her flowers and yard. She was a member of the Regina Ladies Choir for more than 20 years and served on the choir’s executive. For a similar period of time she was a Literacy volunteer through the Regina Public Library and enjoyed the friendship of many of her students. Flowers are gratefully declined.
