Lloyd Clifford Rasch

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lloyd Clifford Rasch in the early hours of Sunday, January 26th, 2020.  After a long battle with heart disease, Lloyd passed away peacefully in his sleep with his beloved wife Christine faithfully at his side.  He was a gentleman and a gentle man with a smile and kind words for all who met him. Lloyd will be deeply missed by his wife, Christine Rasch; sons: Ken Rasch, Guy Rasch (Louise), and Tim Rasch (Jennifer); and daughters, Lynn Rasch and Tina Osgood.  In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes, a Private Family Service will be held.  Although anyone who knew Lloyd knows that he loved his flower garden like it was his own slice of Heaven, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations in Lloyd’s name be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, Unit 26 – 1738 Quebec Ave, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Michelle Surtees, Funeral Director 306-693-4550.

A friend of a friend just informed me of Mr. Ken Rasch’s passing & it has saddened me profoundly. When I knew Mr. Rasch from 1986 to 1988 I respected him greatly, & considered him some one to admire & emulate. He even at this time called me a friend, & had said to me (at that time) that he looked forward to getting to know me better. I will miss his spirit in this world, & pray to the Creator that he has moved onto a better plain of existence. Sincerely, Mr. Mike Cue, Capt, ret’d
