Marnie Penner, (nee Rumsey), beloved wife, stepmother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22nd, 2010 in Moose Jaw, Sk. She is lovingly remembered by her husband of twenty one years, Dr. Lorne W. Penner of Caronport, SK, her step children Catherine (Doug) Reichel of Moose Jaw, SK; Kevin (Carolyn) of Swan River, MB; Reg of Fort Saskatchewan, AB; Jenny (Claude) Daoust of Saskatoon, SK; Geoffrey (Judy) of Winnipeg, MB; Gretchen (Raymundo) Perez  of Edmonton,AB ; grandchildren Myles, Stef, Sarah, Bethany (Stephen), Derek, Kristen, April, Gemma, Jeremy, Devon, Julia, Natalie, Talia, Brianna, Geoff, Keziah, Lindsay, David, Nathan, and Liam; niece Anne (Bruce) Smith of Guelph,ON, and nephew Peter (Margo) Kearns of Meaford,ON. Marnie was predeceased by her parents, Fred and Lilliy Rumsey; her brother Walter, her sister Muriel; her twin sister Reta; her brother-in-law, Earle; and her brother-in-law George. Many thanks to the staff at Extendicare, Moose Jaw, who cared for Marnie so excellently in the last six weeks.  On Tuesday, October 26th, 2010 a viewing will be held at 7:00 pm followed by the Funeral Service at 8:00 pm in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. In memory of Marnie, those who wish may make donations, may do so to the Gideons International of Canada.
