John Reginald Nelson
John Reginald Nelson of Moose Jaw SK, and formerly of Viceroy SK, passed away on May 21st, 2021 at 71 years of age. John was born in Assiniboia, SK. After finishing school he worked as a mechanic and returned to the farm. John moved to Moose Jaw and resided there until his passing. John was a quiet, kind, loving man. He was predeceased by his parents, Reg and Rose; and two brothers, Allan and David. He will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 11 years, Linda. John will also be missed by many. In keeping with John’s wishes, a Private Family Graveside will take place at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in John’s name may be made to The Canadian National Institute for the Blind 2160 Broad St Regina, SK S4P 1Y5. We were saddened to hear of Johns passing and would like to express our deepest sympathy to his family. He was a much loved Nephew.

I am so sorry to hear of Johnny’s passing. I remember him as a young boy and then a man. We visited the farm many times when we lived in Regina, and then more years after moving to Toronto.
