Gail Janice Mykytiw, born September 18th, 1945 in Canora SK, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 22nd, 2025, at the age of 79 years. A spirited soul with a zest for life, Gail leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and compassion.

Gail’s professional life was marked by dedication and pride, particularly during her time at Husky Oil and later at Fairford Industries, where she thrived in her roles. Her adventurous spirit was matched by her immense love for animals, especially her beloved Pomeranians, Max and Bishop and her cat, Dexter. Her family finds comfort in imagining them reunited, waiting for her at the Rainbow Bridge.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all the staff at Pioneer Lodge – Memory Lane for their compassion and care during Gail’s final months. A special thank you for the bologna sandwiches which brought her comfort and joy.
Gail’s warmth, courage, and love for life touched everyone around her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
