Douglas William Mackie
Douglas William Mackie, aged 78 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Wednesday, June 5th, 2019. He was predeceased in childhood by his brother, Stuart and sister, Bevie. He was also predeceased by his parents, Bill and Dorothy; sister-in-law, Linda Mackie; brother-in-law, Grant Fisher; and sister, Deanna Fisher. Doug is survived by his brother, Jim Mackie; sisters, Sandra Mackie and Fran (Norm) Schonhoffer; nieces and nephews and their families: Darren Mackie (Sherri), Trevor Mackie, Grant Mackie (Lorna Leugner), Kori Fisher, Craig Fisher (Jen Boyd), Stacey Pols (Simon), and Lesley Schonhoffer (Chad Murphy); as well as his friend, Carol Andrews. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 13th, 2019 at 1:30 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home. Pastor Marvin Seaborg will officiate and interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doug’s name may be made to STARS Air Ambulance, 2640 Airport Road, Regina, SK S4W 1A3 or to a charity of one’s choice.
