Robert C. Kurp

Robert C. Kurp – Surrounded by loving family, Bob peacefully lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at the age of 71. He was born September 28th, 1940 in Alix, Alberta. Bob is survived by his brother John (Edith); daughter Sonja; son Rob (Lynn); three granddaughters Elecia, Merissa, Kendra; and one great granddaughter Hanna. Bob served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 20 years. In the early years he served as a ground crew member of the Golden Hawks Aerobatic team. After retirement in Cold Lake, Alberta, he enjoyed many years on the West coast before moving to Riverhurst. He went on to enjoy many things such as restoring antique cars, doing stained glass and spending time with friends and family. At Bob’s request there will be No Funeral Service. Following cremation a private family Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
